Claremont receives the Healthy School Award!

The MCM Kids Run hosts school groups from the Metro DC area, many from Northern Virginia, as part of the Healthy School Award challenge. The top five schools with the most registered student participants are honored with the Healthy School Award. This award includes a $1,000 monetary donation to the school’s physical education department from MCM partner Sodexo.

Claremont Immersion has been participating in the event for over 12 years and has been in the top 5 since 2013, holding the title for 11 consecutive years! The PE Department, in collaboration with the PTA, promotes and advertises this event every year within the school.   The next MCM Kids Run is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th, 2024 and we are looking forward to it! Let’s go parrots!
