My name is Tanipa Thomas, school counselor from New York City. I obtained my Bachelors, 2004 and Masters degree, 2014 from Virginia State University “GO TROJANS”. After several years of working with non-profits that assisted students and families I knew my career should consist of me being a supportive link in children’s academic, behavior, and social growth at the school level.  Becoming a school counselor has been the best decision of my life and I am so excited to share my experiences while also learning so much from Claremont’s amazing faculty.

My favorite colors are orange/blue and I have a twin sister who serves in the armed forces. In my spare time I love traveling and spending quality time with my family and friends.
