Since graduating from Virginia Tech in 1992, I have had teaching tenures at various levels of education including middle school, high school, and college. In 1998, after attending a four month training center in Blansko, Czech Republic, I moved my family to Venezuela for almost two years where I taught English and hosted various teams from the US and Canada. I live with my wife and four children in Harrisburg, PA . . . and yes, I drive it almost every day!

Mrs. Renee Seay

I have been teaching physical education for over 26 years and enjoy working with students. I earned a BS degree from Troy University and a MA from George Mason University. I also hold a level XIV Certificate of Study from The Kennedy Center for The Performing Arts. I decided to become a physical education teacher because I had enjoyed participating and competing in athletics since I was in elementary school; and I wanted to help others learn to enjoy physical activity. Outside of school I enjoy traveling, interior decorating, the beach and the visual and performing arts.

Mr. Ryan Whitelaw

Hi! I’m Mr. Whitelaw and I teach Physical Education and Health. This is my third year teaching P.E. I grew up in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland. After UMD I did personal training for a few years and also worked as a sports camp instructor. Because I loved working with young people so much, I decided to go back to school and get my teaching certificate. I am very passionate about health, fitness, and physical education and hope to share this passion with the students, staff, and families of Claremont!
