Bullying and Cyberbullying Reminders and Reporting

Transitioning to a Single Bullying & Harassment Reporting Form At a LEAD Meeting during the 2023-24 school year, an updated Bullying & Harassment Form was shared with principals and administrators.  This form is on the APS website.  At that time, schools could also use their own online bullying reporting tools if they wished.  Since then, feedback has been received from several community organizations and individuals regarding confusion with the multiple reporting forms that exist.  In order to maintain consistency and best serve the community, moving forward schools and webmasters should only include the following electronic methods for the reporting of bullying and harassment:

• Report Email: report@apsva.us

The Bullying & Harassment Form automatically forwards the report to the school principal for acknowledgement within 24 hours.   Schools should sunset any school-based reporting forms by the end of September 2024.  All school websites should prominently include information about the Bullying & Harassment Form and the Report Email.
